Beautiful, affordable homes
Great schools
Churches
Walkable community
Concerned neighbors
Fountain and medians

PROBLEMS:
Crime or the perception of crime
Speeding
Many rental properties=less neighborhood pride/involvement
Lack of city codes enforcement, junk cars, animal control, graffiti
No "center" of the community
Litter problems
Losing businesses (Pic N Save, Scotty's)
Lack of communication between neighbors

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Erect signs at entrances
Clean up/Green up properties
Vacant buildings - fix up or tear down
Create a green space at Bahia/St. Johns Bluff
Plant and maintain fountain area/medians
Enforce codes
Help elderly/ill keep up homes
Start a newsletter and web site
Have neighborhood events/celebrations
