JEA Water & Wastewater Improvement Projects for the future include:

Sandalwood Blvd. (Sandalwood area from Luana Dr. to Atlantic Blvd.), water and sewer improvement, constuction duration - 10 months, estimated cost $1,721,000.


Sanitary Sewer Smoke Testing

JEA will be conducting sanitary sewer line testing in Sandalwood during the next couple of weeks starting June '99 between 8-6:00. Smoke testing enables JEA to identify defective manholes - damaged pipes and improper connections to sewer lines. If the sewer is working correctly, smoke should exit from home rooftop sewer vents. If smoke billows out from lawns or cave-in-sites, leaks will be repaired.
