Oarhouse Severely Damaged by Lightning Fire

Lightning was declared the official cause of the fire that severely damaged the neighborhood?’s popular hang-out early in the morning of June 16, 2008. But, because helping hands pitched in and the Pensacola City Council agreed to a one year temporary building permit addendum, one of Pensacola?’s newest and most popular watering holes was back open for business within two weeks. The volleyball courts now hold tented seating and a limited food menu is available from a temporary kitchen. Customers don?’t get to sit waterside for their refreshments, but still the cars come and folks seem genuinely sincere in their efforts to show support.
