Christmas Celebration at Sawmill Ridge

The sun is setting, people come out from their homes to take part in our annual luminary lighting. As the sky turns dark, Christmas lights illuminate our community, the little candles burn from white bags send a message of warmth and happiness, friendship and love. The roads were lit saying come by and see our little community shine, shine bright with pride.

Santa then took to the road and invited all the neighborhood children to ride with him, playing songs of the season and giving candy as he made his way around Sawmill Ridge. He listened to the children tell him what they wanted for Christmas.

Neighbors came out and introduced themselves drinking hot chocolate or egg nog and eating all kinds of goodies, one big happy family Sawmill was last night and it made me so very happy to be part of it.

Thanks to the many families that helped organize this event, you sure can feel proud of your neighborhood, I am.
