Shadow Rock-Gold Key Neighborhood Association

2nd Quarterly Meeting 2008

May 05, 2008

The quarterly meeting as held on May 3rd. Two items of discussion was painting the wall on the west side of Central Ave. and on the south side of Thunderbird Rd. The other item was finishing up with the work needed on the Block Watch signs for the neighborhood.

Wall Painting: It was identified that the painting should be done before the summer heat becomes a problem and also the city quarterly bulk trash cleanup was completing this week. With those thoughts in mind several members volunteered for the Sunday morning cleanup to meet with the bulk trash pickup in the area.

Block Watch: Janet volunteered to visit with several homeowners and get permission slips signed off. Gabe and Andy will pickup the other locations from Janet and cover them within the next several weeks. It is hopeful to move forward on this project and being our neighbors to an awareness that crime is on the upswing again in the neighborhood. All residences need to take an active part in our security and well being.

Misc:
There was a treasure report provided and a discussion of the costs for both projects above was talked about. It was indicated that the bank account being used would be charged a $5 monthly fee from Washington Mutual in the next few months. Janet said that she would check into this further, hoping to have the fee charge waved.
