Job Well Done! Thanks to volunteers :-)

To All Association Members,

The painting of the wall sections west of Central and TBird, and the additional North-South wall sections facing Heritage Highlands, was finally completed on Saturday, May 10th. A special thanks to all the volunteers who participated in completing all the tasks of washing the walls, wall painting, cleaning up the debris, cleaning up the sprayer and generator equipment before returning them to Home Depot, and so on. The volunteers included:

Also, a thanks to Andy, Wayne and Mischa for their involvement in our preparation work last week to help purchase the paint and other supplies, to do minor wall repairs, to make arrangements to rent the paint sprayer and generator, and set up water hose resource locations. In addition, thanks again to the clean up crew who met last Sunday May 4th, at the wall site to remove much tree and shrub cuttings adjacent to the wall sections to facilitate painting yesterday. This crew consisted of Jack, Andy, Linda Trent, and Gabe. Finally, thanks to anyone else who may have helped or contributed toward this project.

There is some paint left over, and I will keep it for the iterim unless someone else wants to store it; and the Association can use it for other future touch ups or other minor projects. If anyone needs the paint, let me know. I also have the paint formulation description if anyone needs it.
