Our neighborhood is beginning to get that run down look again. There are a lot of overgrown weeds and trash in yards. The inoperable cars are multiplying again. If it doesn?’t run, fix it or put it out of sight. If you can see your backyard full of trash, from the street, fix your fence.
Remember, if you receive a letter from SBNA, it is a reminder so the city does not have to become involved. Most of us are lax at times and could use a reminder. If your neighbor?’s yard is getting bad and they need help because of their health or age, give them a hand if you can. If you can?’t, we may be able to lend a hand.
Once a week, the newspaper lists homes sold in this zip code. The prices of homes in this area seem to be dropping again. The way the neighborhood looks has a lot to do with it.
Take pride in your home and your neighborhood. These are a reflection of the people who live here.
