Our First Event!

Long time residents will remember that we used to have a back to school BBQ and parade. So back by popular demand. . .
Sunday, September 21st at 4pm we will be hosting a back to school BBQ and kids parade. The BBQ and parade start/finish line will be in the cul-de-sac across from 3701 NE 77th ter. Kids, break out your bicycles, wagons, scooters or other favorite riding toy. Decorate them with streamers, flowers, paint or whatever your imagination can come up with. The kids will then parade their rides around the neighborhood. Prizes will be given out to all kids who participate!
The KC fire department and police department will be present to visit with kids and residents.
Meat will be provided for the barbeque and donations to help cover the cost of the meat will gladly be accepted. Everyone attending is asked to bring a side dish or a dessert. Please RSVP to any board member by September 14th so that we may purchase enough meat for everyone. We really hope to see everyone. This will be a great opportunity to meet neighbors, board members and ask any questions you may have about this neighborhood association.
In case of inclement weather the rain date for this event will be September 28th.
