Volunteers Needed for SLCG!

Volunteers are Needed!

Volunteers are needed for upcoming community events. We hope that you will choose an activity or event that sparks your interest!

Spirit Fest: This year the Spirit Fest will have a different look. The theme will be “A Day at the Lake”. Further details will be forthcoming. To volunteer to help, contact Judy Kramerich, our Volunteer Coordinator, at 303 477-3375. Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to participate, especially any youth that would be interested in helping. Volunteering can be a family-affair!

Clean-up Day at Nettie Moore Park: Sunday , May 22 volunteers will gather from 11:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Nettie Moore Park, located on Utica Street, just north of the Lakewood Gulch to spruce up the park and clean-up the area surrounding it.
Contact Person: Nettie Moore 303 820-3694.

June 19th Highland Street Fair: As a fund-raiser for the SLCG, volunteers are needed to sell drinks at the fair. Last year we worked the margarita booth! It’s fun, its easy work and it is a great way to support the SLCG. Contact: Margie Grimsley, 303 455-5928.

SLCG Board Member: The SLCG is always looking for new people who would like to take a leadership role in the organization. It is a key way to make a difference in your community. Contact any SLCG officer listed in this newsletter if interested.

Host a Neighborhood Watch party: Neighbors can band together to reduce general crime problems by forming Neighborhood Watch groups on their block. Call our SCAT officers, listed in the City Numbers section of the newsletter, for details. The city will provide a Neighborhood Watch sign for properly organized neighborhoods.
