Homeowners Meeting
June 28, 2007
Present: Jim Erickson, Joanne Scaifi, Lauren Brown, Linda Bradford, Mary Murphy and John Payne. Alternates present: Charles Warner and Randy Oxley
Approx. 27 homeowners were present.
Meeting opened at 6:30 pm by President Jim Erickson
(1) Termite: Termite control for buildings 1thru 91 was completed by June 26, 2007, Phase 1. Phase 2 will be done next year. Jim discussed the payment plan for Southern Exterminators.
(2) Street light at Smith Springs entrance was brought up to date. Need to check with NES to see what can be done to brighten up that entrance. Major purpose
is for crime prevention.
(3) Power Washing: Have received 2 estimates (1) $1085 per 4 unit building, $1375 per 5 unit building. (2) $525 per building. Need to get a 3rd estimate before making a decision.
(4) Landscaping:
Getting many complaints about service and damage to vinyl siding on buildings. Landscaping at the Smith Springs entrance is looking bad, not being watered. Volunteers were asked to keep areas watered. Mike from Unit 125 said he would take care of the side next to his unit. Lisa in Unit 72(?) volunteered to do the other side. The Association will help with the water bill for these two areas.
(5) Slab: Unit 1 thru 7
Soil is falling away from slab leaving openings. Follow up will be done to have this checked out
(6) Speed bump and Dog Stations have been completed.
(7) Suggestions:
(A) Having unit leaders
(B) Board members walk through the neighborhood
(C) Randy Oxley suggested getting 4 different designs for landscaping to beautify our community.
(8) Items noticed on walk thru by Jim and Mary :
(A) Grills to close to vinyl siding
(B) Dish on roofs not properly installed
(9) Need to set up a maintenance schedule for
(A) gutter cleaning
(B) painting shutters
(C) power washing
