While the West Nile virus, has been prominent in local news all summer along with its affect in other communities. SOSNA residents should remain observant and cautious at home. At this time some communities who have recorded mosquito infestations, are being systematically sprayed to control the condition.
As we may have noticed there have been many flocks of crows scavenging in SOSNA for months. The birds have been very large and robust, and seemingly healthy. However in the past three weeks there have been dead crows found on Greenview. The first on Aug 10, two more Aug 27 & 30. If SOSNA residents have knowledge of others, e-mail our web site.
Also more important is to call the Detroit Health Dept 313-876-4516 and report any sitings, which are used to compile a statistical base in the event there is an infestation in SOSNA.
