Millers Pond Park Improvements Now Linked to Others

SA Parks & Recreation (SAPAR) now says the project to improve Millers Pond Park (MPP), approved as part of the May 99 Bond election, will be further delayed because they?’ve combined it with projects at Arnold and Flores parks. SAPAR is now hiring a consultant and it will be at least another 2 months before they?’ll have her/his plans. After that, SAPAR will again schedule public meetings to get community input. You?’ll recall, the first public meeting on MPP was Jan 22, 2002; this is as far as this project has gotten.
