FREE Help Preparing Your Federal Income Tax

FREE Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is being provided (through the city Dept of Community Initiatives) at many locations around the city. If your family household income is less than $34,692, you qualify. This service will be available through Apr 15th. Be sure to take your driver?’s license or photo ID; all W-2 and 1099 forms; and Social Security cards or Individual Taxpayer IDs for all family members. Most locations do business on a walk-in basis; however, some are by appointment only. The closest location for the SWCA area is the Pearsall Road Community Center, 5102 Old Pearsall Rd.
