Code Compliance Focusing on Garage Sales

Code Compliance is finally focusing on Garage Sales in our area. They check to see if you have the proper permit?—and that you have not had any other Garage Sales at your house within the restricted timeframe. They also follow-up afterward to insure that you removed any and all signs you may posted.
Garage Sales are usually a good way for people to rid themselves of items which they no longer need. However, some people seem to abuse the system and the neighborhood by having them too often and littering the neighborhood with their signs?—which becomes trash when not removed.
Garage Sale Permit rates are now $4, but, if the Council?’s budget is approved, that rate will jump to $15.
