Millers Pond Park Improvements

Despite a request from the Millers Pond Advisory Board that the May 99 bond projects not be held up again to combine with the Nov 03 bond projects, at a Jan 14th update meeting, the Steve Uncaphor (SAPAR project officer) said that the two bond packages would be combined. Improvements for each bond package were for $100,000, totaling $200,000. The majority of work from the May 99 package is to go to expanding parking facilities by the Community Center; while the majority of work from the Nov 03 is to go to improved facilities (and parking) in the football field area. The total estimate of actual improvements is $181, 300. Mr. Uncaphor estimated the contracts should be awarded around Jun 04; with work to start about Jul 04; and work to be completed by the end of 2004.
