National Nite Out (NNO) To Fight Crime, Tue, Aug 3rd

Instead of organizing one big event, which takes people away from their homes, SWCA encourages and supports individual block parties. We believe the smaller block parties are more in keeping with the original intent of NNO?—getting to know your neighbors better, so you can better look out for one another. This year, SWCA will be supporting at least 5 individual block parties, with planning help, invitations, nametags, sodas, goodies and other handouts.
You may no longer have time to plan an NNO block party for this year, but consider doing one next year, the first Tuesday in August. For more info about SWCA assistance, call 623-4965.
