This is the 21st Annual National Nite Out (NNO) in US. In 2003, over 35 million people participated worldwide.
Start planning your NNO block party for that evening, generally from 7?—10 PM. Get to know your neighbors better, so you can better look out for one another. If you plan ahead and register your block party, the police will typically stop in to visit your party, as well as your Councilman and other officials. Plus, if you register ahead of time and submit an award application report after your party, you could win prizes! SWCA has registration forms. You can also pick them up at any SAPD substation or register online at ?“www.sanantonio.gov/sapd/NNO2004.asp?”. Registration forms must be in by 4:00 PM, Wed, Jul 21. Award applications must be in by 4:30 PM, Fri, Aug 13.
