Dec 1st Blue Santa Parade a Success

The first-ever SAPD Blue Santa parade in our area was a success; even though small. With little planning time, SWCA did what it could to support the event. Carole Abitz and Sandra Gamboa distributed fliers to each home along the parade route, as well as posting signs to show the parade route to non-residents. That helped get a good turn-out on the 3-mile route. SWCA also donated the tickets for the door prize drawings. An estimated 400 people participated in the events at Millers Pond. Now that more people are aware of it, we think next year will be even better.
