- Sun, May 26, Divine Providence Catholic Church Festival, Noon?—8:30 PM, Camargo Park, 5500 Castroville Rd. Public is invited. Food booths, game booths, entertainment, & music. Additionally, you can purchase raffle tickets in advance at the church?’s office. Tickets are $1 each. The Grand Prize is a $3,000 Gold Certificate, with other prizes also awarded. Info: 623-3970.

- Thu?—Sun, Jun 6?—9, 31st Annual Texas Folklife Festival, Institute of Texan Cultures, Durango St. Many stages of entertainment, and numerous food booths, of many cultures are continuous. Admission is charged at the gate; however, you can buy tickets in advance at any HEB and get a discount. Thu night is Senior Citizen night, where Senior Citizens can buy discount tickets at the gate. Sunday is Kids Day, with special activities for kids and also FREE admission for little kids accompanied by an adult. VIA Park & Ride will be available from Crossroads and McCreless Malls.
