Recent Annexations to Mesa

A number of factors such as availability of city water and sewer, fire and police response time and uncontrolled lot splits in the county have led to increased interest in annexation of county parcels into the City of Mesa. The association does not take a position on annexation. Some recent or current annexation discussions are:
Ghostrider
This is a 23 lot area on 40 acres south of the Thomas Roads alignment and 1/8 mile west of Hawes Road. It was subdivided in the county and is now requesting annexation.
Range Rider Trail
Several individual parcels along Range Rider Trail are requesting annexation of mostly already improved parcels.
90th Street north of McDowell
Annexation is being discussed
North and East of Hawes Road and Oak Street
Approximately 16 lots on 24 acres is being annexed.
