Recycling Guide

Recycling Yard Waste

Collection of yard waste is limited to 5 cubic yards weekly, approximately a standard size pick-up truck load or 30 bags. Cut limbs to 5' or shorter, not larger than 6' in diameter and stacked in piles parallel to the curb. Yard waste includes: Grass clippings and Leaves; Shrub trimmings; Tree limbs; Palm fronds. All vegetative matter including christmas trees is recycled into compost and is available FREE to residents.
Don't Bag It, Recycle it Yourself! Use your yard waste rather than placing it curbside for collection by:
Leaving your grass clippings on the lawn; as one bag contains up to 1-4 pound of organic nitrogen that is vital to lawn an dplant growth.
