The newly formed First Coast Crime Stoppers is one of over 1,000 non-profit naitonal and international programs enjoying great success in the fight against crime. The mission of the program is to receive information anonymously and pay rewards for the tips leading to arrest. Crime Stoppers partners with law enforcement agencies, the media and the community in solving crimes and getting criminals off the streets.

On Tuesday, July 8, 2003, the Sheriffs of Duval, Clay and Nassau counties announced the start of a new, effective tool in crime fighting in Northeast Florida. This new tool is the establishment of Crime Stoppers program on the First Coast.
