Yes, it is nice to be involved in your neighborhood, especially in a positive way. All members are volunteers.

The volunteer members of this organization have this year raised funds for the homeless and for underpriveleged children to attend summer camp at Great Explorations. The other monies raised will be used to help put together a new neighborhood plan to benefit all residents of North Shore, which in turn helps the city as a whole.

The volunteers also write, put together and distribute a newsletter
to try to keep neighbors informed about what is happening in the area.
Some volunteers work to prevent crime, calm traffic, help individual homeowners with problems, protect the neighborhood from disaster developments like Hazelton, etc.

So what problem do you have with your neighbors volunteering to make YOUR neighborhood a better place to live?
