Pond Clean up June 12 th

We had another Pond clean up day before or
Picnic. We had Juliet Hoke, George Stout, Curt Bishop, Cindy Bishop, to help with some debri removal. Juliet used the Bushhog to cut down large weeds around the fence line and in the ditch area across from the Pond. Curt and George
used a Chainsaw to cut up large tree limbs that had fallen from past storms to make them easier to take to the dump. They made 3 truck runs to the dump. Cindy helped Juliet learn to use the Bushhog and to help finish the ditch areas to clean up all the weeds and Briar bushes.
George went and got a large pair of tre snips
to help with large weeds and clearing at the ditch.
We also talked about ideas we had to beautifie the pond area, talked about a play ground down at the, a walking track around the pond and try to add some plants too the area. If you have any ideas for this area please contact Cindy at 967-0162, or Juliet at 962-9710
