As the City prepares its ?“Music Everywhere?” summer performances, SOAR has urged the Department of Cultural Affairs to ?“carefully consider the location of residential buildings?” when selecting locations for the performances. ?“We hope you will take steps to ensure that ?‘Music Everywhere?’ will be limited to areas where it is unlikely to be considered a major disturbance to residents.?” The ?“kick-off?” event is the Friday, June 21 "Miles of Music" celebration, which runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. along Michigan Avenue from Oak Street to Balbo.
