Dogs in Smitty Park!

Man's (and Woman's) Best Friend.......can't FLUSH!

OKC's slogan for pets traveling the neighborhoods of our fair city is "Dogs Can't Flush". Does everyone realllllllly know what they mean by that catchy little saying?

Take a little walk over to Smitty Park or the James Monroe Elementary School. You'll soon fully understand the slogan. It seems that man's best friend is leaving a little behind after he visits. And....no one is happy about that mess!

Smitty Park is now the proud recipient of one of the OKC FREE "Doggie Bag" dispensers, complete with bright blue bags. Excellent idea!! We've walked our dog and personally tried out the bag and can say that it works perfectly. (ugh....but worth it for a cleaner park)

So folks.......don't let your dogs run loose in the park, on the school ground or in the neighborhood. Keep them on a rein and walk them responsibly.

And.....be sure and take a "Doggie Bag" if you're walking your dog! If you're walking your dog, without a "Doggie Bag" of some type, you face a possible fine!
