In like a Lion out like a Lamb. That is the old saying about March, and so far March is living up to it. Lets hope we continue to be fortunate and that the severe weather keeps going around us.

Spring in Alabama means changing temperatures daily. Cold one day hot the next. When its warm the insects come out along with the other creepy crawleys. When it suddenly gets cold again they hunt somewhere to get warm. Houses, sheds, and carports. All are inviting to unwanted critters when sudedenly turns cold in the spring time. Watch where you step when you go out at night. Not all the critters you might find are dangerouse to us but most things will bite if you step on it.

There is another bug that comes out this time of year. Some catch it more than others. Its the gardening bug. Early warm weather gets some of us thinking about early gardening. however we need to be carefull what we try to plant early more cold weather could surprise us and undo any early preperqtions we might do. Some times though it is worth the gamble to get the veggies in early. just be ready to replant if needed.
