The purpose of these quarterly breakfasts serve as an information center, civic and social event, cultural experience, exploring economic possibilities and a political stage for community issues to be discussed or introduced.
Charles X White convened the first breakfasts 10/20/02 at Pentecostal Baptist Church. Our average attendance is 410 people with a high of 800 people. Mayor Bill White is listed as a topic on the agenda of this meeting.

Organized Sunnyside Neighborhood Center 1986, the first community and multi agency collaborative in Houston, the center ultimately became what is now serving as the Sunnyside Police Store Front .
