New Parking Violations Put In Place

As you know, the current and previous HOA boards have been trying for a long time to enforce the parking rules in the community. Unfortunately, these efforts have gone on deaf ears for the most part. More and more people have chosen to ignore the posted No Parking signs, whether it be a homeowner or their guests.

There have been so many complaints about this issue, and so many letters, emails, newsletter articles, etc that have been put out asking for compliance, that as a last resort, the current board members felt that something else be done.
With that in mind, at the last meeting, the board decided to make a change in the violation process for parking issues.

The prior violation process was to send out 2 letters, and on the 3rd letter, assess a $25.00 fine. Any additional violations would send additional fines to the homeowner.

The change that was made was to forgo the 3 letters and immediately assess a fine, and to increase that fine to $50.00. In doing so, the board hopes that this will finally resolve the parking problems in the community.
