Please take a moment and read your homeowner rules if you are thinking about putting a security door on the front of your home. The rules currently state that ?“security doors may be used, and they must match the home body or trim color?”.
To avoid further confusion, your board had changed the wording to state that ONLY security doors may be used. Regular screen doors are NOT to be considered a security door.
To ensure that no homeowner that currently has a regularscreen door on the front of their home need remove it, a vote was take to ?“grandfather?” those existing doors. The only stipulation on these grandfathered screens, is that they also must match the homes?’ body or trim paint.
Please also be aware that if you wish to install a security door, you will need to fill out an application thru the Architectural Review Board. Contact any board member for questions.
