It?’s that time for street maintenance. According to the contractor?’s recommendation, after 3 years, the streets will need to have a ?“SEAL COAT?” applied.
This keeps the asphalt in good condition, and lengthens the life cycle of the street.
A seal coat is basically an oil coating applied to the asphalt, which seals the asphalt from sun and tire damage
Two bids were submitted, one by Sunland, the other by Ace. It was decided and approved by the HOA board of directors to select Ace as the contractor. This was based on their bid and work to be completed. They will be doing some crack sealing before the actual Seal Coat is put down.
Russell Haigh will be checking with the contractor as to required street closures and a time line required to complete the job.
Notices will go out to the homeowners with more information as well as the time schedule. You will be informed as to where to park your cars during the time your street is being done. Obviously not all the streets will be done on the same day, so that parking can be staggered as to not to become a problem for everyone. Clearly, no parking violations will be given during this period
