The Sunset Ridge Homeowners Association (SRHA) Board met at the home of Mike Burns on Wednesday May 30, 2007.

Board Members present were Mike Burns, Adam Boyd, Leanne Ford, Brad Beecher and City Liaison Ron Darby.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the contents of a letter to all residents in the neighborhood to update them on the status and progress of the SRHA.

Previous to the meeting Mr. Burns had drafted a letter and distributed to the Board members. The letter had four main sections: 1) An update on the property at the corner of 32nd and Schifferdecker, 2) A timeline for improvements on the storm drain 3) Front entrance update, and 4) An update on the street lighting situation.

The Board fully discussed all issues and concurred that after Mr. Burns incorporated edits to the letter, particularly in section 1, that it was in the best interest of the SRHA to get it out. Mr. Burns is targeting sending out the letter this Friday, June 1.

The Board reviewed the finances. We currently have 25 paid members for a total income of $5,000. We have received bills from for landscaping and sprinkler repair totaling $2,715 ($2,365 and $350). Leanne estimates that we have about $1,800 in additional bills coming for plants ($1,200) and labor ($600) to plant them. We have also received a bill from our attorney?’s covering costs through May 7, 2007 for $766. In total we have estimated expenses of $5,281.

The Board also discussed other miscellaneous issues that had been brought up at previous meetings including the pond forming south of the Gold?’s property.

The next meeting for the Board was schedule for Friday, June 15 at 5 PM at the Burns residence.

The next meeting for the full SRHA is scheduled for Tuesday, July 10 at 6:30.
