LANDSCAPING

Sep 06, 2008

Sculptured Earth continues to make progress addressing our landscaping needs throughout the community. Currently the landscapers are working in Phase II (communities along Don Donnelly) to clear the 3?’ area behind the view fences. After the cutting down, the crew will then work to remove the trimmings. Upon completion of the clearing behind the fences, they have been instructed to thin out the area between the path/sidewalk and the walls along Superstition Mountain Drive. At the same time, they are continuing to maintain the high visibility areas throughout the community.

Our landscapers have also reported instances where they are being approached by owners to trim trees on common property to enhance views. These situations are currently being addressed by Kinney Management and the Board of Directors.

Sculptured Earth has been advised not to take any directions from individual homeowners regarding trimming on common property. Kinney Management and the Board of Directors are receiving numerous reports and complaints regarding residents instructing their personal landscapers to trim and/or remove plants and trees. Please be aware that any company other than those under contract with our community will be liable for trespassing and/or criminal damage; the homeowner may also be held responsible. In addition, we are receiving reports from our landscaper that owners are instructing them to trim and/or remove trees without the approval of Kinney Management. Please be advised landscape maintenance or planting of any type within the common area may not be performed by an individual home owner(s) or their representative without the approval of Kinney Mgmt.
