Ash Tree Inventory presented by Adam Williams

There are approximately 165 Ash Trees on our common grounds. This excludes about 30 which are in wooded areas near the ravine. The trees were categorized by degrees ranging from ?‘not an issue at this time?’ to ?‘mostly dead / dead by season end?’. The latter category indicates an ?‘immediate threat?’ or in need of being removed this year. There are 15 trees around Andes in need of removal and approx. 11 more in other parts of the commons. In other words, we will need to remove about 26 trees by the end of the year. The best time to do this is when the ash bore is no longer active - fall/winter.

Thank you Kyle Hardesty for taking care of the broken picnic table!

Thank you Cub Scout Pack 194!
On Saturday, June 23rd, Scouts of Pack 194 gathered trash and debris from the North Playground area, from there they traveled up the North end of Sugarbush and rounded out around Andes. Though only a portion of Tanager Woods Common Grounds were covered, an overflowing truck load of branches has been removed. Thank you Scouts, Siblings & Parents for Making a Difference!

Congratulations MATT LANE of Andes Court!
