THUNDERBIRD EAST MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Thunderbird East Neighborhood Watch Association is to inform the neighborhood residents of what their options are when there are problems in the neighborhood, act as a liaison between the neighborhood and the city government, pass on information to the proper parties, and to perform a watch patrol.

It is not the responsibility of the Neighborhood Watch to call the police. It is the responsiblity of everyone living here to promote a crime free neighborhood. The police do not inform us of the issues in the neighborhood. That information comes from every resident in the neighborhood. When the neighbors in this area provide us with information, the nieghborhood watch then informs the proper authorities of hte issues brought to our attention. Plese keep the neighborhood watch committee informed of problems that you know of. Should a situation escalate into a major problem, the neighborhood watch committee can refer the problem to the proper authorities for immediate action, or for further monitoring.

The neighborhood watch committee has developed a good working relationship with the different parts of our city government. They ahve come to respect what we say.
