Sanitation Pickup Days

Pick Up Days are:
- Saturday for Recycle
- Wednesday for Garbage
- 3rd Full Week of the month for Uncontained Refuse and Green Waste (Note: place at curb the Sunday before the week of pickup)

NOTE: Even if the day falls on a holiday.

Guidelines:
Place your Garbage and Recycle containers curb side on the night before or by 5:00 a.m. on collection day. The containers should be removed by 6:00 a.m. the following day.

These receptacles shall be stored and kept, between collection days, in such a manner that they are not readily visible from the street. This is not just a CC&R, but also a policy with Gilbert Public Works.

Green Waste -- Instead of putting leaves and grass in your regular black container, you can bag and tie it and leave it curbside on your uncontained week. You can also put the green waste into your own trash barrel and leave it for disposal. (Don’t put it into the Town issued blue or black container. The Town will not be issuing new containers for the green waste program.)
