TTNA Meeting Minutes 9/17/09

Ì Financial Report: Aaron was not present to give report
Ì Ongoing Business
Two-way Streets- The study has been funded. Other cities are being considered as part of the study. There will be a public mtg. @9/29/09 5:30-7:30 at Memorial Auditorium where a powerpoint presentation will be presented on the study and they will be collecting demographic information and opinions. It is very important for TTNA to make a showing. Phil is working to put information on the TTNA website.

5013C Status: Still working on this per Phil
Toonerville Dog Park: Jodi discussed that committee submitted the proposal to Metro Parks. We are looking at a cost of $66,000. Suggestion made that we seek local volunteers to help getting the park together.
Limestone Wall: Checks have been cut and they are in the process of contracting w/ the gentleman who stored the blocks.
Ì New Business
New Concerns: Dick Irby discussed “Children’s First” agency coming into Old Louisville. Also Neighborhood Council is asking different neighborhood associations to give their opinions regarding Wayside Mission moving into the hotel on Broadway. Don Driskall talked about his role in initiating Wayside moving into the Hotel. We need to debate this issue of supporting or not supporting the Wayside Mission moving into the property. OLNC is expecting a position quickly.
Neibhborhood council has reported that someone is interested in purchasing the property. Lee Hensley has offered to care for the property.
