APRIL 22 IS THE NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN UP?—STARTS AT 9:00 AM AT ST. PHILIP CHAPEL ON WOODBINE
Next Meeting is April 20 at 7:00 am
The meeting was opened by Kevin Kouba, President at 7:00 pm
Minutes from previous meeting: Kleier is misspelled. Minutes approved
Treasurer?’s report: There is $2998 in the bank, $130 from current memberships
Fundraising: The fall flower sale brought in $220, much of it from sales to Second Street members.
Adopt a Park?—Joann. Aaaron Jent, living in 1200 block of Brooks Street wants to work with the park. Joann will help and need others. Bearwood Gardens will be a sponsor. The motion was made and approved that TTNA will adopt the park as a part of the Operation Brightside?’s Adopt A Park program.
Old Louisville Neighborhood Association?—Kevin Kouba and others
There are parking meters on 2nd Street and Burnett?—we will look into this?—the parking was approved with neighborhood input
Fire Stations. Metro government is closing all the Old Louisville stations?—Preston & Ormsby, 6th Street and Hill, and 6th & York) and replacing them with two stations?—not sure where. If you are opposed to this, contact Metro Call and the Mayor?’s Office. You can also pick up yard signs at the Information Center at Central Park.
Oak Street is being cleaned up weekly by the Old Louisville Chamber of Commerce
ZALU?—Zoning and Land Use?—is looking at/for illegal basement apartments. IPL wants to know where they are. Also any illegal advertising signs in Old Louisville should be reported?—but Real Estate signs are approved.?—A question was raised about the Tax Office on 1st Street. If you know of illegal signs, contact Helga at HHUBMW@cs.com

Police Advisory Committee?—Helga Ulrich.
The District Lt. wants a ?“check point?” created on a OL parking lot to check on car baby seats for free?—to make sure those being used are safe.
Helga wants to do a study of the crime reports to see how long it takes for the ?“perps?” to get back on the street.
Let Helga know about any crime you see?—where it is happening, what is going on so she can alert the police and also keep a record of what happens
The Neighborhood Council President, Chuck Anderson, is still interested in the ?“place managers?” who will coordinate information on crime and report summaries of the crime and concerns to Kevin who will then send it on to the OLNC
Old Louisville Journal?—Don Driscoll is asking for each association to submit news by the 15th of the month. To subscribe go express your interest to OLNC@bellsouth.com
Question: Where are we in the filing with the State of Kentucky? We are to do annual reports, are we doing them. Dale will check with Lisa Kilkelly of Legal Aid.
A motion was made and seconded and approved for the association to write a letter to Chuck Anderson to oppose a request by the corner store at 1st and St Catherine to stay open until 4:00 am.
