?„} Opening ?¡V Welcome and Round Table Discussions
Phil opened the meeting at 7:00 pm with introductions of new officers and attendees.

?„} Review of Minutes from Last Meeting
No minutes due to December Christmas party.

?„} Financial Report: We have paid our OLNC Association Dues. Current balance is approximately $3,600.

?„} Ongoing Business
Possible By-Law Change- Discussed changing the by-laws to have officers serve two-year terms. Phil reported that there is no term limit for officers. Phil will need to distribute the by-laws, open for a discussion and have a vote. Phil will bring by-laws to the next mtg.

TTNA Park Wall Repair- Nancy Woodcock discussed filling in the gap in the limestone wall along the Toonerville Park (southeast corner of Oak & Brook). Nancy and Aaron will work on gathering a design and estimate to conduct the work. Aaron reported that the now vacant lot (where the house burned) will most likely go up for a tax sale and we are encouraging Metro Parks to purchase the land. Bill Walsh move to that Toonerville support the work on the wall, Irene seconded motion. The vote was unanimous.

Trees from Brightside Trees: Nancy Woodcock reported that all the five trees have been purchased and planted. The watering bags still need to be purchased and we need individuals to take care of the bags. Locations of the trees are two trees on 1ST in the 1300 block and three trees on 1300 Block of Brook. The city will be planting more trees and it appears that they are marking areas to plant trees with pink flags. We will desperately need volunteers to water trees, so they do not die.

Two-way Streets- Phil began discussing the success-rate of obtaining petition signatures. An individual present represented the group NO WAY TWO WAY. Because of inquiries directed at the issue of two-way streets Phil presented an overview of the associations rational for having both Brook and 1ST Streets turned back into two-way. Phil discussed the history of the two-way streets in the Old Louisville Plan. Attendees discussed the long history of talks to turn Old Louisville streets to back to two-way. Phil reported that we have received an offer of support from (Donna Sanders, Unseld?¡?¦s Assistant) George Unseld?¡?¦s office has offered to assist with paying for postage of mailing out cards to absentee landlords/owners to obtain signatures. TTNA will pay for the paper, printing and return postage.

PIC Committee: Vacant House Issues/ House Fires- There has been two fires, recently, in the neighborhood. Please call Metro Call 311 if you see problems with an abandoned building. City-call on the recent property complaints of 1373 Brook did work and we did receive action from those calls. TTNA requesting that you call, call, call?¡K?¡K?¡K311. It was suggested that the new inspector for this area would come to the TTNA meeting to answer questions. Aaron reported that the inspector did attend a recent PIC meeting. Aaron reported that we have requested that the inspector attend a TTNA meeting, but he has yet to respond. Aaron will contact the inspector and his supervisor to request his attendance.

?„} New Business

- Aaron handed out locations for upcoming meetings. Phil will email the list out to the TTNA association.
- Bill Walsh announced that we have four new businesses; Oak St. Pizza, Lester?¡?¦s (paint), and two small corner grocery stores.
- Aaron reported that the grocery store on Oak next to Lee?¡?¦s Hardware is now selling single-serve alcohol.
- Friday, 2/15 @ 1 pm, quilters and fabric artists will be at St. Philip Neri Chapel. These quilters will also be holding discussions at the Speed Museum.
- We still have TTNA notes and TTNA tote bags available. See Dennis Lisack.
- Agenda item for next meeting ?¡V developing a dog park within the Toonerville Park.
