The Toonerville Trolley Neighborhood Association (TTNA) encourages all residents to attend and express their views at any City or Old Louisville meeting. However, any time their public comments include mention of the Toonerville Trolley Neighborhood or the Association, they should make it clear that they are speaking as a concerned citizen and not on behalf of the TTNA.
Prior to anyone speaking as a representative of the TTNA on any issue, the following must occur:
Time permitting
• The issue will be brought before the full-membership to be discussed and voted upon. Any TTNA public opinion will require a vote by the membership in attendance at the TTNA meeting and a 2/3 majority.
• The membership will designate a representative to speak on behalf of the Association. The TTNA designated representative can provide oral explanation of the decision, interpretation of the decision (to the best of their ability), and explain the process that the TTNA used to arrive at the decision.
Time not permitting
• The Executive Committee will discuss the issue via e-mail, telephone, or in a special meeting and make a final consensus decision.
• The Executive Committee will designate a representative to speak on behalf of the Association. The TTNA designated representative can provide oral explanation of the decision, interpretation of the decision (to the best of their ability), and explain the process that the TTNA used to arrive at the decision.
Any TTNA Opinion to be expressed at a public hearing:
• Will be in writing, and
• Will be delivered to the Meeting Chair by mail (U.S.P.S.), e-mail, or in person by the TTNA designated representative.
