Progress Report For November

Well the Fall season is in full swing. I trust that everyone made it through our T.S. Ida. This was my first so I am no longer a rookie, I guess,lol. I would just like to let everyone know that we are in the process of scheduling another meeting soon. We do have our commisioner, Gene Valintino coming to join us. I encourage everyone to think of some important topics to discuss with him. We have been in contact with our code enforcement about the issues with trash and grown up vacant lots.I would encourage everyone to look around and see if you spot an eyesore to let us know, we can report it directly to them and get it taken care of. One note of significant progress, the sneakers that were hanging from the powerlines at the start of Yellow Bluff have been removed!!! We reported the incident to the authorities and contacted Gulf Power. We got a quick response from them and they had them removed the same day. This just demonstrates the power of a neighborhood standing together. The authorities seem to take more of an interest in our community. I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and Remember to respect your neighbor, thank them for being a good neighbor!!!!
