Daisy Letter Vol. 1 Issue 2
Our Daisy Troop #2543 is off to a great start!
The Daisies have basically fulfilled the requirements to earn the blue center of their DAISY FLOWER. The center signifies the GIRL SCOUT PROMISE.
Parents: Please spend some time with your daughter to practice the GIRL SCOUT PROMISE. (If the last meeting was your first meeting, please do not worry. We will get you up to speed in no time.)
DUES: There are still a hand full of parents that have not paid the troop dues. I will send individual e-mails if you are not sure if you have paid the troop dues. Troop dues are $30.00. (Dues and registration fees are different. Dues stay in the troop bank account, and the registration fee goes to Girl Scout Council.)

Sorry Parents, but his event is open to scouts and the leaders only due to crowd capacity regulation. (TROOP EVENT)
REMEMBER: This is not just a fun event…there is a service project behind it. We will collect SOCKS, all kinds of SOCKS for donation to Marygrove Home.
*NEW SOCKS* All socks are welcome, including men, women, children, and baby sizes.
Snacks and refreshments will be served at the event.
Please let me know if you have any questions. We will have more information about a meet spot and time.
I will contact you if you have not paid the $3.00 for your daughter to attend the Sock Hop.
Our next meeting is October 24, 2012. This will be our Halloween celebration so we will have fun and the girls can wear their costume if they would like & Turn in Socks.
