It is time again for the Joffre Area Civic Association to have the annual
4th of July Parade & Picnic
Our Annual 4th of July Parade and Picnic will offer more to your family than any other event sponsored by Joffre Area Civic Association. Prizes for the children. Free balloons. Memphis City Fire Truck tours for the children. Bike, wagon and stroller decorating contests. Riding lawnmowers and pets on leads are welcome to join.
Potluck Picnic with Corky's Barbecue provided.
This years 4th of July Parade & Picnic will be held on July 4TH, 2001. Parade participants will meet at the 3100 block of Cowden Avenue at 10:30 for pre-parade refreshments. The parade will start at 11am. The parade route will be begin at Cowden Avenue to Marne Street, Marne to Joffre Avenue and end at the end of Joffre. If you can not participate in the Parade, become a parade supporter!!! Pot Luck picnic will begin at 12 noon. Pot Luck dishes can be delivered before the parade at the home of Frank and Regina Benson (3392 Joffre Avenue). Volunteers needed for the set up and clean up after dessert. NO RAIN DATE.
