VI. Action Items – (50 minutes)

a. Proposed 3 way stop sign – 1st Avenue and Palm – Mike Dibas (10 mins) Proposed addition of stop signs, requested by resident, on 1st Avenue at Palm, just north of 1st Avenue Bridge over Maple Canyon.

b. Pennsylvania Avenue Tentative Map Waiver – Westone Management (10 mins) – Application to waive the requirements for a Tentative Map to convert 48 residential units to condominiums on a 0.570 acre site at 836 W. Pennsylvania Avenue, Hillcrest (Process 3).

c. Essex Street Tentative Map Waiver – Westone Management (10 mins) – Application to waive the requirements for a Tentative Map to convert 39 existing residential units to condominiums on a 0.521 acre site at 1756 Essex Street, Hillcrest (Process 3).

d. Comments on Petco Park Event Transportation and Parking Management Plan (10 mins) – Please review proposed comment letter prior to meeting. Comments due Wednesday, December 3, 2003.

e. Proposed Moratorium on HRB Historic Designations (10 mins) – Due to budget cuts and limited staffing, the Planning Department will propose a 12 month moratorium on historic designations initiated by individuals. City Council Land Use and Housing Committee scheduled to hear this proposal on Wednesday, December 3, 2003.

VII. Information Items – (15 minutes)

a. 2525 2nd Avenue – J. Peter Block Companies – Taal Safdie and Ricardo Rabines – Informational presentation on applicant’s redesign of proposed 120 unit project, including affordable housing, at 2nd Avenue and Laurel, Banker’s Hill. Action will be Process 5, with applicant requesting rezone and community plan amendment.
