Hello, once again Neighbors. I'd first like to welcome all our new neighbors over the past year and reacquaint myself with the veteran neighbors. A lot has happened over the past year and I wanted to take the opportunity to bring you up to date.
In spite of my best efforts to resign from the Board and have someone else write the Newsletter, I was unable to refuse the doubling of my Board salary. 2x0=?
Our plans to have all the work in the subdivision accomplished by last December have been hampered by numerous problems. You can thank Dennis Hughes, Board President, for spending many hours in pursuit of contractors, property managers, and resolving issues that have become a real pain in the neck. Give Dennis a big "Thank You" the next time you see him. Ted Gust and Sheryll Belsher have also been instrumental in getting questions answered and issues resolved, please give them your support.
During the past year, we had a change in property managers, and due to the individuals incompetence, we fell behind on several issues. One issue was the parking, and the other was notifying homeowners when they were in violation of the CCR's. As a result of the Board putting pressure on City Property Management, and our recent manager, Sandra Younes, I think almost everyone received a violations letter recently, including yours truly. So if you were one of many that received a reminders, don't feel like you were singled out. In order to keep our neighborhood looking its best, and maintain our property values, it's up to each home owner to do their part. Please help us, and yourself by promptly taking care of these issues.
Several positions are available to those that are willing to give one evening a month to help the VVVHOA. We could use members for:
Architectural Committee
Neighborhood Watch
Social Committee
If you would like to help keep our neighborhood looking great, contact a board member or Kevin @ City Property.
