Thanks to all of you and your good energy, SOMH has a large ground swell of support now and we welcome more each day. Now with this database of all of you and your outreaching & networking to your database groups we can see what needs to be done to make us stronger and more effective. By now, you must have received numerous emails or faxes from SOMH and you can see the strategy we are working on simultaneously.

Here are the areas we need IMMEDIATE help in.

1) GOAL: For SOMH to fax at least one full petition (atleast 3-4 full pages) per day to the AG's office - After you make yourself a copy for safe keeping, please remember to send the original to

2) Also, with just 8 phone calls per day to the AG's office, this is considered a crisis issue! KEEP THE PRESSURE ON HIM

3) WE NEED TO BE PHYSICALLY PRESENT IN THE COMMUNITY AS SOMH.

4) We need someone who will donate Bright blue with white writing T-shirts ( XL size) saying - SOMH Save Our Marina Hospital - It can save your life! & mass produce them so we can all wear them in the community and when we rally.

5) Have those flags that attach to cars - SOMH - Save Our Marina Hospital - Royal Blue with White letters

6) PLEASE SEND ANY DONATIONS to cover phone bills to Sacramento (lobbying), copy costs at Kinko's, copy paper and purchasing and graphics for T-shirts & car flags IF we can't get them donated. Julie Inouye is paying for everything on her own at the moment and would appreciate any help.

VDMN Assoc. is already set up as a non-profit community group TAX ID #: 95-4207998, in PdR and we will open a separate account just for this fund and books will be kept for public accounting by an Ex-Executive, VP of Finance from Hughes.

Many local supermarkets have already given their permission to set up petition tables in front of their stores.

Although she works full time she is willing to coordinate ALL OF US to strategically get the most out of those who are willing to put their bodies where their mouths are.

Costco, Alpha Beta, Ralphs, Vons, and any other major functions - Boat show this weekend, Venice Market this Friday, etc.
Don't be passive - be active - this is going to be a fight to keep this hospital open - let's not fool ourselves!
