?· Garbage pick-up was discussed due to contractual issues. Different options are being reviewed.
?· No real roof damage occurred during the bad May storm that took 1 tree, several limbs off other trees, and wooden shingles.
?· Roofing estimates to be discussed again in July. Architectural Chair still working on shingle proposals, starting with Pool House.
?· Extermination is offered on a regular basis. Everyone is required to participate for your and your neighbors benefit. Please contact Mary Massey at Ghertner if you have any questions.
?· The possibility of a 2nd Annual Pool Party was raised, and Laurel Duncan (67) and Val Smith (65) have volunteered and will organize.
?· Numbering of Units was discussed for uniformity, ease of visibility and locations. The issue has been tabled.
?· A new homeowner welcome packet is being worked on by George Mallonee (94). A new directory is forthcoming.
?· Communication to the homeowners is an issue. One proposal is email and a monthly newsletter. Please reference form on the back page to have your newsletter emailed directly to you. Please remember to fill in Brian Blalock?’s form to include your email address in the directory.
?· Storage units are rented through Versailles located in 4 of the buildings on the property. It was encouraged that storage units be kept clean. Units that are occupied but are not having rent paid will be cleaned out and rented to other homeowners. Please contact Mary Massey at Ghertner if you would like to rent a storage space.
?· It was nice to see new homeowners in attendance, and all homeowners are encouraged to attend and participate.
?· The next Board meeting is scheduled for July 25th at 6:30 pm in the Pool House.
