About Villa Marbella Homeowners Association

Villa Marbella Homeowners Association consists of the property at 3140 and 3142 Midway Drive. Primarily, the property is two 3-story buildings, each containing 42 condominiums, for a total of 84 units. Originally built in late 1979 as apartments, Villa Marbella was converted to condominiums in 1981.
There are 78 2-bedroom condos, each about 850 square feet, and there are 6 one-bedroom condos, each with about 600 square feet. Every condo has one assigned parking space, and there are about 25 extra parking spaces that are rented. Amenities include pool and spa; water (hot & cold), sewer, and trash are all paid by the Association. Residents need only pay for electricity for their condo, phone, and cable (if they want cable). Villa Marbella is a controlled access project with a vehicle gate in operation at night and locked main entry doors 24 hours a day.
As of January 1, 2000, HOA monthly ("maintenance") fees are $143 per month per condo. Savings and reserves amount to $125,000. Sales prices for 2-BR condos rose above $100K, to about $105K, during the summer of 2000. Rental prices for the 2 BR condos rose to about $925 to $1000/month in the summer, also.
