DENVER RESIDENTIAL BLOCK BEAUTIFICATION BEAUTIFICATION PROGRAM �

A portion of Denver?’s Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds is available to qualifying Residential Block Groups and Neighborhood Organizations to fund physical improvements projects for residential block beautification. Self-help efforts are encouraged at the block level in the belief that people working together to solve mutual problems build stronger communities.
Eligible Improvements:
?Ÿ Sidewalk replacement if trip hazard or extreme cracking exists or where non exist, Corner curb ramps, Tree planting and/or removal (tree replacement is encouraged), and sod planting
Program Requirements:
?¸ The applicants must be residents of the project area. The applicants must select a block Primary Contact Person and a Secondary Contact Person who will be responsible for organizing, coordinating and providing residents information. Applicants must submit a completed preliminary application form. All property owners must be invited to participate. All proposed projects will be confined to the public rights-of-way.
