Two of our hard working members have moved. Although we still have very dedicated people trying to keep the VMCCNA up and running, we miss the talents and dedication of Susan Perkins and Gary Greer. The rest of us are struggling to fill in the gaps and are now realizing just how much they did and accomplished in the Village Meadows neighborhood.
We are not asking for board members or chair people, we just need a few hours of your time: some on a monthly basis and/or for special situations as they arise. Choose an activity you would like to get involved with. If you need help in getting started a board member or knowledgeable person will help get you started.
The following areas needing help:
* Yards-neighborhood preservation, reporting of blighted property
* Hearings-several kinds (criminal, civil, legislative, etc.)
* Letters regarding any of the above violations. A good example was the Liquor License for the Break Cue Club: they withdrew their application because of community opposition.
* Bring snacks to General Meeting
* Newsletter distribution and soliciting ads for the newsletter
What a terrific opportunity to join your neighbors in working together for the preservation, safety and well being of our VMCCNA community
